Program for the Global Animal Nutrition Summit (GANS) is now live!

The Ontario Veterinary College and Ontario Agricultural College of the University of Guelph are proud to be hosting the Global Animal Nutrition Summit (GANS). A conference designed to bring leaders in animal science, comparative nutrition and veterinary nutrition together for the first time ever. This global nutrition summit is a collaboration between eight international animal nutrition organizations.

The goal of GANS is to create an opportunity which allows for animal, comparative and veterinary nutritionists to share animal nutrition research and discuss common animal nutrition interests. Most importantly, the focus is on a comparative approach for the scientific program, providing opportunities for early career researchers in the animal, comparative and veterinary nutrition field to present their work.

The keynote speakers and presenters for this exciting day are now published on our website! Be sure to check out the program to read about all of the exciting topics you could be listening to and learning more about! These topics include mini reviews and posters focused on feed analyses, plant based foods, sustainability, obesity, ingredient quality, nutrient requirements, the microbiota, and many more!!!

If you aren’t available to watch the live feed from August 12-14, don’t worry! All presentations will be recorded and will be available for all registrants for up until a year after the conference!

Registration is still open for this unique event! To register and learn more about this upcoming virtual conference, please visit the GANS website at: https://globalanimalnutrition2020.uoguelph.ca/
